Seal Colony & Peninsular Walk Track
Address: Kaikoura Seal Colony Kaikōura Peninsula Walkway, Kaikōura Peninsula, Kaikōura, New Zealand .Kaikoura Seaside Lodge is located along the Peninsular Walk Track Loop, steeped in history, wildlife and photo opportunity. You can do the whole track or just to the seal colony and summit to take some Instagram able photos along the steep bluffs.
You can expect to see, a bounty of wildlife including seals, birds, and during the right season a whale (June - August) and dolphins (September - May).

Kaikoura Look-out point & Star Gazing
Address: Kaikoura Lookout Scarborough Street, South Bay, Kaikōura, New Zealand .Directly above Kaikoura Seaside lodge is the Look-out point, 360 degree views of the Kaikoura Ranges and open Pacific Ocean.
A short 20-minute walk track will take you up to the area, a great place to catch sun set, sunrise and Aurora!
The Pier Bar and Restaurant
Address: The Pier Hotel Avoca Street, Kaikōura, New Zealand .A couple of metres down the road you will discover Kaikoura's best Restaurant and Bar.
Not only is the food and drinks amazing, but (much like us) their view and outdoor area is unreal.
They even have an outdoor kids area that is an absolute bonus in keeping them entertained!
During the summer months and busy weekends it is advised to book ahead as they fill up fast.
Mayfair Theatre
Address: Mayfair Arts and Culture Kaikoura Esplanade, Kaikōura, New Zealand .Showing the latest and greatest movies in style and comfort - it has all the modern comforts and technology mixed with small old town charm!

Address: Fyffe House Avoca Street, Kaikōura, New Zealand .A historic whaling house and site, steeped in history! Take a took of how they lived in the days of the whalers and the history behind it. Thankfully time has moved on since these brutal days, but the history remains as a reminder of why we should continue to protect our environment and wildlife.
